I am in love with this cover, has to be my all time favorite! At first I got all excited that they put a model on the cover instead of another celebrity and then I realized it was Taylor Swift. I love the way she looks here, simply beautiful.

I just got back from a snowy walk on the trail with Koda. Now contemplating relaxing or shopping.....

DIY: party decorations

My sister Brooke just got her dream job right out of nursing school, so my sister Jen and I decided to throw her a quick surprise congratulations party :) Figured it was a good excuse to finally use my vintage punch bowl that I filled with sparkling raspberry lemonade. (ginger ale, lemonade, fresh pureed raspberries & sorbet)

I am even thrifty with party decor ;) I have so many old magazines that are taking over so I decided to use them! I just cut out triangles and strung them together with a needle and string. Plates, napkins and table cloth $1 each from the dollar store and a manger special flower bouquet for $2.50.

friday favorite

This is one of my new favorites, Trader Joe's frozen yogurt and fruity pebbles. I got the idea from Pinkberry and I have to say I prefer TJ's yogurt! (I like to let it sit a few minutes and then mix it all together)
